Ellen Bari started her education as a fitness trainer in 2016 and interned under Iron Fields, LLC. By 2017, Ellen studied for and received her Certified Fitness Trainer certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). The second certification received was Corrective Exercise Specialist, the third was Specialist in Group Fitness, and the fourth Certified Nutrition Specialist: all we’re completed in September 2019. ISSA certifies that Ellen has successfully satisfied the requirements of the curriculum and was awarded the title of Elite Trainer. Ellen Bari holds certification to host Silver Sneakers Flex exercise programs for seniors as well.
In her youth, fitness was important to Ellen, running track in high school. Being injured in her thirties and then re-injured in her forties, Ellen understands the importance of promoting safe, low-impact exercises that help regain and maintain optimal fitness to help prevent re-injury from occurring and to keep pain under control.
Ellen’s passion is to help people who have past injuries and impairments reach their fitness goals safely. She understands and supports clients who have fears about restarting their fitness journey after injury. Her education and expertise help her to promote modified, low-impact exercises so that clients reach their health goals without the risk of re-injury. She offers the reassurance people need, so they can stay healthy and feel good in their bodies again.
It’s all about my clients and their needs. I work tirelessly to share my knowledge and expertise in the areas of exercise, nutrition, and behavioral change. The end goal being improving my client’s overall physical health, mental wellness, and lifestyle change for life.
